Term Dates and School Day
The DFE require schools to deliver a minimum length of school week of 32.5 hours. Northfield St Nicholas Primary Academy meets this requirement by operating a 6 hours 35 minutes school day for 190 days of the year, with a 32 hours 55 minutes school week, except for weeks with INSET days or bank holidays.
For children from EYFS (N & R) to Year 6, Registration and doors are open from 8:40 am when school starts. Registration closes at 8.55 am.
For all children except Year 5 & 6 school finishes at 3:15pm.
Year 5 & 6 finishes at 3.25pm.
For Part time Nursery pupils, please liaise directly with the Nursery class leader.
