Welcome to the bumblebees
We look forward to sharing lots of learning, key messages and ideas to support your child at home on this web page so please check regularly to keep up to date. As always if there are any questions or concerns please come and talk to us.
We will be visiting our wonderful school library every Tuesday to change our books. Please ensure that your child has their book in their book bag on this day so that they can bring a new one home to share with you. Sharing books with your child is an important part of early reading development. Why not try…
- talking about the pictures,
- allowing your child to turn the pages
- talking about what might happen next
Please continue to check your child’s Tapestry account to find out all of the exciting things that they have been learning whilst at Nursery. This will also give you lots of ideas of ways to support your child when learning at home and as always please share any home learning with us too, we love to see these! If you are having problems accessing Tapestry please let us know.
It has been fantastic to see all the children coming to Nursery in their school uniform, they look so smart and have been so excited to show off how wonderful they look. Ensuring that all children are in correct uniform is very important and allows the children to have a sense of belonging and consistency. A big thank you for your on-going support with this and ensuring all uniform is named.
This half term we will be focussing our learning around the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. It is hard to believe that this classic story is celebrating it’s 50th birthday this year, so we have decided to explore the story to help celebrate!
